不知從那裡來的沙塵暴,
掩蓋了我所熟識的城市、親人、朋友,包括我的身體。
我清洗了一身的黃沙,卻發現被埋藏的是那匹放狂野馬。

maggie blue's poems

1) Sacred love
Intimate dreaming
cuddles
love puddles
relaxed nakedness
beauty mirrored
divine essence seen
humans be ing
in sight seeing
truly believing
an oceans rhythm
in deep hearts beat
intertwined as one
god/goddess/all that is
breathing

2) tailors of light
We are light workers
here again
here always
Mending threads
sewing etheric light weaves
tailoring compassion's victory
guilding love's golden suit
May we sit at the table of banquets feast
Players in the courtyard
classmates in the lessons
teachers of the schools
comrades in the battle
lovers in the dance
We are the creators of our mission
Our purpose: To sing from the mountains-
Joy is Peace!
Happiness is Abundance!
Love is the air we breathe!
Walking pathways
through the alleyways
walking with candles
inner flames call our names
listening hears the call
answering says you hear
and calling back means you've entered the ball
time to reveal our golden dress
our sweet caress of tender flesh
our innocent soul
here to dance
here to be free
to revel in community
we are the sacred tailors
here to mend the holes with
needle and thread
by leaving our head
and entering our heart
that's a start and where to begin
once again from the center as weavers of light
we'll remember our own delight
with insight
we'll leave the fight
end the battle
and return home to the place of the heart.

3) is What is....
Swim in warm ocean's caress
is what is I bless
Radiant warm sunlight from morning's window
is what is I remember
Open doors of heartfelt praise
is what is I give
Spirals eternal evolution upwards into light
is what is I am experiencing
Shifting tides of pleasure's bliss
is what is waiting
Acceptance of unravelling opportunities
is what is being offered
Diving into uncharted depths of initiation
is what is called for
Surrender to dissolving into truths guided path
is what is listening
Beauty of divine essence
is what is flowing
Continual maintenance of mindfulness
is what is the challenge
Present moment breathing into compassion and kindness
is what is the lesson
Knowing we are always protected and cared for
is what is the message
Love for ALL beings
is what is the life path
blessed be.

4) I am here
I am here to be the earth
I am here to be the sea
to be the birds
to be the trees
to feel the roots
down into the ground
to listen to nature's
pulsing sweet sounds
We are the heavens
we are the skies
we are the questions
we are the whys
Only open hearts hear the treasured morning song
When we sit in the shadows we learn of the unknown
Accepting our beauty, our Love, our divinity is within
Not a sin
We are each unique
Yet each a cell of earth's being
May we unite and smile as one again.
Intimacy
Into me see
you and i are mirror reflections
so may we shine
and unwind as one
We are the ones we've been waiting for
You and I, there is no other...no You only the internal I
so may we be free and relax knowing...
I am here
there is no need to fear
I am I am Eye am I

5) Nature
Listen to life's gifts and recieve
Believe
have gratitude and understand
I am always holding your hand
walking right beside you
honoring you along your path
The disguise that we hold onto needs no longer to be worn
the mask needs to be torn
Then the eye gaze, the breath, the inner wonderment
that is always ignited can be seen and shared
there is no need to compare
we are all different candles with the same light
the glow that burns bright is our cosmic flame
Our heart beats to synch with gaia's rhythms
Her dance floor is the earth we walk on
Onto her i shall boogy all night long
Into starry nights i shall wallow
letting go of pretense
going deeper than the shallow
Follow bird calls melody to be free and fly
within our hearts calling
knowing she speaks the truth deeper than any other voice of reason
every season has its purpose
every moment has its meaning
Spring is to blossom
and Summer is to bloom
it's our time to come out of the cocoon
and be guided by nature
our human nature
to dance, sing, be free
Nature is our teacher
may we listen and learn

6) New beginnings
unravelling
slowly
allowing
for new change to metamorphe me
a cocoon
shedding its layers
piece by piece
trusting gradually
all is unravelling
inside this delicate mesh
soft tender flesh
pink
new
becoming accustomed
breathing first breath
inhalation
a sensual discovery
layer by layer
exhalation
colors burn bright
unravelling
as light
envelops fragile being
and carries her away
gently on wings of
new beginnings

Paper Hearts: The Puppet Show

HAD Project – January 23rd and 24th 2010
Opening Performances
For the opening weekend of the HAD project in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, Hoi Chiu and Maggie Blue O'Hara, Co-Artistic Directors of All Theatre Art Association, will create an original puppet show called Paper Hearts. Following these performances, an exhibition of Paper Hearts: The Puppet Show will be available for the public to view over the entire period of the HAD Jan. 23- March 2010.

Paper Hearts Puppet Show Synopsis
Paper Hearts is a touching story about a local (Hong Kong) Chinese woman in her sixties, who has been a paper collector all of her life. She lives simply in a small, run-down apartment on the corner of Staunton and Aberdeen Road. On one of her typical days flattening cardboard boxes and pushing her paper cart up the steep hills of Sheung Wan, she finds an abandoned baby in the garbage.
She takes the baby home and becomes his mother.
Paper Hearts takes the audience on a journey, observing the lonely woman who now has a young child to care for. They have many lovely times together: eating fresh warm egg tarts, lighting incense and burning paper during Yulan. She shows him how to cut paper hearts with scissors; he helps her collect paper on her route.
But the boy grows up quickly and is soon embarrassed by his mother's way of life. He becomes a highly paid architect and tries to force his mother to quit her paper collecting. He doesn't appreciate how hard she has worked her whole life and how much she has helped him become the man he is today.

One day, while working at his office with many overdue projects on his desk, he ignores a phone call from his mother. When he finally visits her she is in the hospital. Later they have one final dreamy day together at the old park where she used to take him. All around them is construction and new buildings going up; the city is noisy and distracting. Yet she makes another row of paper hearts with her scissors and gives it to him.  Time slows down and the noise dissolves. He remembers when he was a child and how she would push him on the swings and how that simple action made them both so happy. He finally thanks his mother for everything she has done for him. They hold hands and walk home.

Director's Notes
Paper Hearts is a metaphor for the conflict between old and new Hong Kong, which sees progress in tearing down the old and building the new. Paper Hearts is about how Hong Kong culture is precious – how the memories, architecture, old streets and old people have so many stories to share, with wisdom and knowledge, from which we can learn.
In the end, Paper Hearts is about appreciating the past, learning to understand each other and trying to work together in harmony. Every element of the show will be made out of paper and wood. Paper comes from trees, an invaluable part of nature only recently being viewed as important again as they become endangered. Paper holds knowledge, memories and personal stories we need to remember in order to appreciate where we've come from and therefore have faith in the path of our future.
